High Desert Political Action Committee

Discover the strategies, partnerships, and collaborations that enable us to bridge the gap between our members and government entities.

In 2024, the High Desert Political Action Committee (PAC) was launched to enhance political engagement and advocacy for Chamber members in the High Desert region. This initiative aims to empower local businesses by providing a structured platform for collective political action, allowing members to pool resources and influence policy decisions that impact their industries.

The formation of the High Desert PAC enables Chamber members to amplify their voices on critical issues, ensuring their interests are represented in local and state government. By coordinating efforts, members can more effectively support candidates and policies that align with their economic goals and community needs.

The HD PAC enables us to officially endorse candidates and advocate for measures that directly impact the business environment. This past September, the HD PAC made its inaugural endorsements for the upcoming election on November 6th.

Legislative Action Committee

Governmental affairs lie at the core of our advocacy initiatives. Whether cultivating strong ties with City/Town Councils to tackle local zoning and code enforcement matters or forging expansive alliances to address regional and statewide issues, we are committed to active engagement and dedicated representation for both you and your business.

The Legislative Action Committee/Government Affairs Committee connects with our elected representatives at all levels of government. This committee convenes every month on the third Thursday via Zoom to stay abreast of legislative developments and foster collaboration on ongoing legislation. Annually, committee members actively participate in the California Chamber of Commerce Capitol Summit in Sacramento.

To become a part of this committee and contribute to our impactful initiatives, please reach out to the Chamber office for more details. Your involvement is crucial to shaping a dynamic and effective advocacy platform.
